Two Horses

Keratex launches three new products

Keratex, a world leader in equine hoofcare, has announced the introduction of three new products to its popular portfolio of hoofcare goods.

By launching newcomer Keratex Cooling Gel onto the market, the company can celebrate its successful move into legcare. Keratex Cooling Gel works unlike other cooling gels in that it does not contain menthol or camphor – which work by numbing the ‘hot’ nerve receptors – instead it actually cools by evaporation, making it a highly effective and competitive product.

The company has also launched Keratex Hoof Wash, a revolutionary disinfecting hoof and fetlock soak. Launched to tie in with the winter months – notoriously problematic for horse owners – Hoof Wash can help protect the horse against a whole range of common ailments before they arise. It is also extremely effective if used to assist the horse in fighting ailments.

Its third new product for 2007 is Hoof Disinfectant, a site-specific disinfectant developed using a patented formulation from Byotrol. This product forms a waterproof, breathable coating wherever it is applied, which is hostile to micro-organisms, therefore lasting far longer then conventional disinfectants. Hoof Disinfectant can be used on any part of the hoof and is also very effective if used to disinfect cuts, abrasions and puncture wounds.

These three new Keratex products are available to order now, however due to extremely high demand there is currently a waiting list.
